Job description

Our esteem client is looking for an experienced engineer to lead in the design, development, commissioning and maintenance of Ship Management System (SMS).

Work location: Benoi

Working hours: 730am to 5pm

Company transport provided.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system and architecture design and system integration of Ship Management System with 3rd party systems.
• Experience in Site Testing and commissioning, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Set to work (STW) and Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT).
• Perform hardware / software maintenance and troubleshooting, configuration and documentation.
• Knowlegible in control & instrumentation, and control system design, PLC programming and SCADA software.
• Familiar with Standard industrial protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, RS422/485, NMEA, CANbus J1939.
• Knowledge in Python, JSON, Restful, Machine Learning and Data Analytics experience will be an advantage.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Computer, those with other engineering experiences are also welcome.
• Experiences with system architecture design, system maintenance, and/or networking
• Ability to work independently under pressure, as well as able to lead a small team
• Possess good communication skills to communicate with suppliers and customers at all levels
• Possess good analytical skills and good problem-solving & troubleshooting skills.
