About the role

K.C. Chan & Co PAC' is seeking a talented Audit Assistant to join our team in the Cecil Street, Central Region. As an Audit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external audit engagements, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance. This is a full‑time position, offering opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the planning and execution of external audits for a diverse range of clients
• Performing detailed financial reviews, analytical procedures, and substantive testing to verify the accuracy and integrity of financial statements
• Documenting audit findings and preparing clear, concise reports for clients
• Collaborating with the audit team to address any issues or discrepancies identified during the audit process
• Providing support in the preparation of audit workpapers and other relevant documentation
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Experience in Group consolidation of accounts

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant experience in external auditing, preferably within a public accounting firm for Audit Seniors
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify key issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members
• Proficiency in using audit software and data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
