Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a psychologist to provide psychological services, including neuropsychological assessments and cognitive rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will hold a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with at least a year of relevant experience. They will be responsible for developing protocols for evaluation and educating patients and caregivers about impairments. Ideal candidates should possess good inter-personal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in psychology.
• Previous experience in a neurological clinic is advantageous.
• Exposure to rehabilitation is favourable.

Job description

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide psychological services in area of neuropsychological assessment, perform cognitive rehabilitation and provide education for patients. You will develop, maintain and update protocols for psychological evaluation, interventions and psychological counselling. You will also coordinate and deliver programs to support the patients and their care‑givers, educate them on the aspects of the impairment / illness and provide counselling and rehabilitative services.

Requirements:

• Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Possess good inter-personal skills to be able to work with the adult population that includes geriatrics.
• Previous experience in neurological clinic would be an advantage.
• Rehabilitation exposure will be considered favourable.
• Able to work in teams as well as independently.
