A leading medical school in Singapore is seeking a Tenure-Track Associate/Assistant Professor of Microbiome to conduct high-quality research in microbiology. Responsibilities include obtaining funding, supervising research staff, and teaching medical students and postgraduate candidates. The ideal candidate holds an MBBS/MD and/or PhD with experience in translational clinical research and a passion for academia. A full-time position at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is open for a Tenure-Track Associate/Assistant Professor of Microbiome. Reporting to the Dean and Vice Dean, Research, the appointee is expected to undertake high quality research in the area of microbiology pertaining to either microbiome or microbial bioinformatics within the Microbiome Medicine Research Programme, in line with the research strategy of the School. The appointee will obtain research funding and supervise research staff and students. The appointee is also expected to undertake teaching and educational responsibilities for the training of medical students and postgraduate research students.
