Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of all warehouse functions while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Location

Any of our warehouses (AMK, Serangoon North, Tuas, Changi North). May require travel between sites.
Working days: 5.5 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure a smooth-running department.
  • Ensure accuracy in inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, picking, packing, and staging goods while maintaining high productivity levels.
  • Collaborate in establishing work schedules and ensure effective job assignments.
  • Translate customer specifications and requirements into clear internal guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all operational matters.
  • Train employees on procedures for each customer account, monitor their performance, and maintain current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Uphold customer quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area while promoting a safe working environment.
  • Safeguard inventory integrity by overseeing physical inventories and working with the Inventory Controller to resolve discrepancies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost management, workflow optimization, and achieving both internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Enforce workplace safety and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
  • Maintain team discipline, morale, and departmental harmony.
  • Address customer complaints and issues promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as outlined in the Quality Manual and Quality Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, operations, or leadership roles.
  • Diploma or higher qualification, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, meticulous attitude with strong organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a naturally inquisitive mindset.
  • Hands‑on and proactive approach.
  • Proficient in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP is preferred.
