Job description

The role will serve as a strategic driver of innovation, transformation, and organisational excellence at Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC). Reporting directly to VP (Operations) with a dotted line to CEO, the incumbent will oversee high-impact projects that span across all departments — shaping operational strategies, driving innovation, enhancing process efficiencies, and supporting SCC’s readiness for her next phase of growth.

This role acts as the central hub for SCC’s transformation initiatives as we prepare to transit to our new terminal, combining strategic foresight, operational understanding, and project delivery excellence to strengthen SCC’s position as a forward-looking, innovative, and customer‑centric terminal operator.

Responsibilities

1. Operations Planning & Optimisation

The Operations Planning & Optimization role is embedded within the Operations team with a reporting line into VP Operations. The functions include:

• Building a strong dashboard / toolsets for SCCPL to better analyse, plan and predict our core businesses in a more data‑driven manner.
• Partnering with Technology & IT dept to support and enhance operations technology initiatives.
• Work with VP Operations and the Cruise and Ferry Managers on the various reporting requirements which are currently at a monthly or quarterly cadence.
• Analyse operational trends, risks, and opportunities – and that would go towards informing strategy, planning, and resource optimisation.

2. Strategic Projects

• Contribute to the operational process planning and transformation initiatives especially as it relates to SCC’s upcoming move into the new terminal.
• Identify innovation projects that can enhance SCCPL’s productivity and efficiency across the organisation.
• Partner with internal divisions to progress the implementation phase of key development projects at our terminals.
• Partner closely on new business development projects as new opportunities unfold.
