Senior / Assistant Manager, Group Hospitality Services (Food Service)

Sector: Healthcare / Hospitality Operations, Salary: $4,300 – $6,300 per month, Employment Type: Permanent

This role oversees end-to-end food service operations to ensure patient, staff, and catering meals are prepared and delivered safely, accurately, and on time. The successful candidate must be hands‑on in kitchen operations while also managing administrative work, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily food service operations across control room, store, catering, dishing, and assembly areas
  • Manage manpower planning, hiring, deployment, and mobilisation
  • Ensure staff training and vaccination compliance
  • Manage food service contracts and monitor vendor performance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and fire safety standards
  • Drive emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
  • Work closely with Executive Chef and production teams on inpatient, staff, and catering meals
  • Lead workflow improvement, automation, waste reduction, and sustainability initiatives
  • Handle escalated patient complaints and feedback
  • Prepare and submit monthly food service reports
  • Conduct monthly contract payment checks for stewarding services
  • Maintain proper documentation and records
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in hospital, hotel, restaurant, or high‑volume food service operations
