Job summary

A strategic partner in Precision Engineering in Singapore is seeking a skilled candidate to lead responsibilities in optical coating processes. The role involves collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure equipment uptime and productivity, along with performing maintenance and repairs. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Engineering and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in facilities and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with PLC or thin film coating machines.

  • Lead the optical coating field work.

  • Plan and execute equipment repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Play a pivotal role in leading-edge of optical coating field

  • Assist to lead the group of technicians for daily work activity.
  • Responsible for Equipment Uptime, Productivity, and CIP.
  • Co-work with Engineers to resolve equipment/line issues.
  • Ensure smooth equipment operation by planning and carrying out equipment repairs and maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment and facilities independently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and urgent repairs on machines & facilities.
  • Assist in developing critical equipment maintenance SOP, RA, and WI.
  • Responsible for internal audits and assisting with external audits.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in facilities and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with PLC or thin film coating machines
