Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Supervisor. The successful candidate will train and supervise banquet staff, manage equipment, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. With at least 3 years of experience required, the ideal candidate must have a diploma in Hospitality or F&B Service, a positive attitude, and strong customer service skills. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Train, motivate, discipline and supervise the work of employees in Banquet.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings regularly.
  • Supervise team members on shift, ensuring grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of hotel equipment.
  • Manage stewarding stores and equipment for Food & Beverage Department.
  • Control and reduce expenses to maintain budget.
  • Ensure adherence to F&B control procedures for issuing food and beverage.
  • Attend to guest complaints and take corrective action.

Responsibilities
  • Train, motivate, discipline and supervise the work of the employees in Banquet.

  • Attend and participate in all required meetings on a regular basis.

  • Supervise the team members on shift. Ensure that they are well groomed, properly attired, and personal hygiene level (i.e. fingernails trimmed, waiters shaven etc.) to ensure strict adherence to the Hotel’s standards of quality service.

  • Ensure proper care, security and maintenance of hotel equipment through proper supervision of service personnel

  • In charge of all stewarding stores and equipment for Food & Beverage Department.

  • Control and reduce all expenses including labour cost, breakage etc. Ensure department cost is within budget.

  • Ensure that F&B control procedures are adhered to and that all food and beverage are issued with proper chits of charging.

  • Attend to guest complaints, problems or situation and take prompt, corrective action, ensuring the highest degree of guest satisfaction

Requirements
  • Diploma in Hospitality or F&B Service

  • At least 3 years of working experiencein relevant field
