The primary function of this role is to head the building and facilities management that houses sophisticated communications and technology operations such as Data Centre, Network Structure, Power substation, Server Centre facilities.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Will lead and manage a team of Facility Engineers with background in M&E, HVAC, Building Maintenance, Technology systems.
  • Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and upkeep of the site and it’s operational requirements to maintain full functional an incident-free.
  • Responsible for real-estate contracts such as (but not limited to) Property Leasing, Contractors Facilities, Electrical and Security services and government related health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct day-to-day inspection activities and check the building / facilities for defects or faulty equipment.
  • Will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the Building Facility which will include (but not limited to) Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and major and minor work related to the building.
  • Handle purchase orders for parts replacements, severe maintenance or overhauling.
  • Will lead the documentation, coordination and operational aspect of building administration management.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Building / Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Preferably 14 to 16 years’ working experience in Building & Facilities, Network Facilities, Data Centre Facility in a Senior capacity.
  • Skilled in M&E management systems, security management (physical and technology)..
  • Strong leadership skills in managing the department of Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, Internal and External staff.
  • Comfortable addressing and dealing with Board meetings and business decision making.
  • Good verbal and able communicate with various stakeholders and colleagues for guidance and consultation.
  • Comfortable to travel islandwide and handle contracts management.
