The Role

We are a leading learning centre looking for an Assistant Centre Manager to lead our centre teams in ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional learning experiences for our students and parents. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing people, improving processes, and driving results in a dynamic, people-centric environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of our learning centre.
  • Build and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for smooth and consistent business operations.
  • Train, mentor, and coach new hires and existing team members to maintain service excellence.
  • Plan and manage staff rosters to ensure sufficient manpower during all operating hours.
  • Resolve customer queries professionally and promptly.
  • Work with the Enrolment team to implement enrolment strategies and meet centre enrolment targets.
  • Collaborate with the Teachers Team Lead on teacher deployment and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with the Business Planning team on timetable optimization and centre efficiency.
  • Oversee centre administration, including payments, petty cash, and record-keeping.
  • Uphold student welfare and centre standards, ensuring a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Majority of customers are from China. Successful candidates needed to communicate with these customers in Mandarin).
  • Passion for customer service, preferably within the education or ed-tech space.
  • Experience in developing new opportunities, closing sales, and exceeding the target-driven environment, focusing on B2C customers (e.g. young learners, parents, and their guardians).
  • Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious sales goals.
  • You are energetic, hungry for success, and achievement-oriented while being empathetic engaging, and consultative to our customers.
