What you'll do:
As an Assistant Brand Manager based in Singapore, you will be instrumental in bringing beloved confectionery brands to life across a vibrant region.
- Assist in developing and executing annual brand plans across diverse markets in Asia.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Media, Consumer Insight, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Artwork Planning to ensure seamless delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Lead the conceptualisation and implementation of holistic 360-degree marketing campaigns that encompass both above-the-line and below-the-line activities tailored to local market dynamics.
- Track monthly sell-in and sell-out performance using internal reports and Nielsen data; analyse results to identify growth opportunities and recommend actionable strategies.
- Manage packaging artwork development processes by coordinating with supply chain partners and ensuring timely approvals for new product launches.
- Oversee budget management for assigned brands by monitoring POs, invoices, financial updates, and ensuring accurate reporting to finance teams.
- Develop promotional plans and point-of-sale materials (POSMs) in close partnership with creative agencies and trade marketing teams while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Support new product registration processes by liaising with regulatory teams and flagging any concerns related to compliance or timelines.
- Present brand performance updates to regional leadership teams and participate in discussions with research agencies to track brand health metrics.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities across all relevant markets to inform future campaign strategies.
What you bring:
To excel as an Assistant Brand Manager in this role, you will bring proven experience in managing multi-market campaigns within the FMCG sector, ideally spanning several countries or regions.
- Bachelor's degree required; ideally in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- Demonstrated analytical ability with experience interpreting sales data for actionable insights.
- Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas while maintaining commercial awareness within fast-moving consumer goods environments.
- Solid understanding of core marketing principles including campaign planning, project management, and budget oversight.
- Agile mindset capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities across multiple countries or business units.
- High sense of responsibility paired with proactive problem-solving skills; able to anticipate challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for building rapport with cross-functional teams as well as external partners such as agencies or distributors.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity while remaining focused on objectives; able to balance multiple projects simultaneously without losing sight of details.
- Familiarity with SAP systems is advantageous but not essential
