Job summary

SSANGYONG ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO LTD is seeking an Architectural Coordinator for a large-scale hospital project in Singapore. • Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Studies or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination or construction.
• Experience with a main contractor or Design & Build contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Architectural Manager in managing and coordinating architectural works for a large-scale hospital construction project.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders on architectural matters.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submissions and technical proposals.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E and other building services to resolve interface and technical issues.
• Monitor architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Assist in planning and monitoring the progress of architectural works in accordance with the project schedule.
• Coordinate material submissions, samples, mock-ups, inspections and approvals.
• Assist in managing RFIs, technical submissions and architectural documentation.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress and quality of architectural and finishing works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on defects and rectification works.
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues related to architectural works.
• Coordinate with consultants and relevant project parties to ensure timely completion of architectural works.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore building regulations, codes, quality standards and project specifications.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on architectural progress and outstanding matters.
• Assist the Architectural Manager in supervising and guiding the architectural coordination team.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, submissions, approvals, inspections and other project documentation.
• Perform other duties related to architectural works as assigned by the Architectural Manager / Project Manager.
