  • Handle full spectrum of AP, AR, and GL functions.
  • Perform monthly closing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with banks on loan matters and monitor financial covenants.
  • Support internal/external audits and assist with year-end financial reporting.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Accountant to join our Finance & Admin team. This is a permanent, executive-level position that plays a critical role in supporting our financial operations across multiple entities. You will be involved in a wide scope of responsibilities including AR, AP, GL, compliance, tax, audit, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare group consolidated reports and compliance checklists.
  • Compute and submit company tax, GST filings, and support corporate tax submissions.
  • Monitor daily bank balances, cash flow, and prepare weekly reports.
  • Handle full spectrum of AP, AR, and GL functions, including intercompany billing.
  • Perform monthly closing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with banks on loan matters and monitor financial covenants.
  • Support internal/external audits and assist with year-end financial reporting.
  • Verify staff claims, manage petty cash, and process vendor payments.
  • Draft financial presentation slides and prepare Board Pack materials.
  • Contribute to financial planning, stocktake, system updates, and ad-hoc tasks.
