Job summary

SCT Construction Pte Ltd, established firm in Singapore, seeks an on-site Architect/Engineer to coordinate and supervise architectural works across ongoing projects. You will review drawings and submissions, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

The role requires reading architectural/construction drawings, strong coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage clashes with structural and M&E works while

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building, or related field.
• Relevant experience in building or construction projects preferred.
• Able to read and understand architectural and construction drawings.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software.

Responsibilities

Monitor site progress, workmanship, and quality of architectural works.

Conduct site inspections and follow up on defects and rectification works.

Resolve architectural and technical issues arising during construction.

Coordinate material samples, approvals, deliveries, and installation works.

Attend site meetings and provide updates on architectural work progress.

Prepare site reports, inspection records, and relevant project documentation.

Ensure works are completed according to the project schedule and safety requirements.

Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building, or related field.

Relevant experience in building or construction projects is preferred.

Able to read and understand architectural and construction drawings.

Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Familiar with architectural finishes, materials, and construction methods.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different project teams.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in architectural design, building or construction, or related projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software.
