Job summary

Cornerstone Builders Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Coordinator to review and coordinate all architectural works, including shop drawings, and liaise with subcontractors and vendors on site.

The role focuses on resolving drawing discrepancies, ensuring adherence to architectural specifications, and supporting the Project Manager to meet project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years local experience in private residential and commercial building projects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Knowledge of authorities (e.g. BCA) requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Review, update and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings for the project
• Resolve drawings discrepancy
• Liaise, supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work
• Ensure compliance with Architectural specifications, and achieve quality aspect of architectural works
• Coordinate with architect, structural engineer and M&E engineer to resolve construction problems and issues
• Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
• To assist Project Manager to develop project requirements and specifications
• To attend to construction site coordination works and meetin
• Review project specifications, tender clarifications and construction drawings
• Carry out daily supervision and coordination of all architectural implementations at site
• Prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure smooth transition of works
• To liaise with RTO for inspection
• Inspect, resolve and monitor rectifications
• Supervise the construction of works and incorporation of materials and ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the Project Plan
• Assist the Project Management team in ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations
• Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, submit and update status of shop drawings and materials as well as supervise work progress
• Liaise closely with consultants and sub-contractors; conduct routine inspection of installed works
• Prepare / coordinate on method statement, drawings, materials, samples, work progress and other relevant documents for M&E related works
• Identify discrepancies between M&E, Structural ID, Architectural and client provision

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree / Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of local experience in private residential and commercial building projects will be an added advantage
• Understand the specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies
• Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (i.e. BCA)
• Good team player
