Job summary

TRACEBUILD E&C PTE LTD is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to oversee all architectural works, coordinate sub‑contractors, liaise with suppliers, and ensure on‑time delivery with quality compliance. You will review drawings, manage site safety, and support handover documentation for completed projects in Singapore.

Requires a degree/diploma in architecture or related fields and a minimum of 3 years in construction, with experience in A&A works.

Responsibilities

• Develop a schedule program for commencement and completion of all architectural works to align with the master schedule.
• Coordinate, monitor and control architectural sub-contractors’ progress and quality of works.
• Coordinate sub-contractors work to avoid conflicts among them.
• Delegate work to general workers and assign duties.
• Liaise with suppliers on products needed and delivery schedule.
• Submit materials, shop drawings and method statements for consultant approvals before work starts.
• Arrange architectural trade demonstrations for consultant approvals.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and goods to site.
• Arrange for testing of architectural materials.
• Liaise with consultant to solve technical and detailing issues of architectural works.
• Attend project coordination meetings.
• Report to Project Manager the progress of architectural works.
• Assist Quantity Surveyor with verifications for various claims.
• Verify sub-contractors claims for works done.
• Assist Quality Team to prepare Conquas 21 or Quality Mark.
• Assist Project Manager in handing over documents including As-built drawings.
• Coordinate, monitor and control site safety & health.
• Liaise with consultant’s team on site including RE / RTO for compliance to quality and inspection processes.
• Oversee construction projects to ensure procedures, quality of works and materials comply with specifications, contract, and quality.
• Endorse joint measurement sheets for contractor’s progress claims.
• Coordinate and monitor construction works per contract specs and standards.
• Review deviations from specified construction procedures for compliance.
• Inspect and review completed works for conformity to contract specs and standards.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Execute control measures on material/plant, equipment and utilities usage.
• Control direct labour costs and overtime where applicable.
• Understand specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works.
• Propose alternative materials or methods for architectural works.
• Interpret construction drawings for discrepancies.

Job Objectives/Job Summary:

As an Architectural Coordinator in a main contractor, he/she is required to coordinate all architectural works to ensure delivery on time with acceptable quality of works.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• To develop a schedule program for the commencement and completion of all Architectural works to tie in with the master schedule.

• To coordinate, monitor and control Architectural sub-contractors’ progress and quality of works.

• Oversee construction projects to ensure completion on schedule and endorsement of joint measurement sheets for contractor’s progress claims for stages of completed works.

• Coordinate and monitor construction works as per contract specifications and standards to ensure that procedures are followed and materials used conform to specifications and standards.

• Review deviations from specified construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations governing construction.

• Inspect and review completed works for conformity to contract specifications and standards.

• Liaison with consultants, contractors and suppliers, etc to ensure successful implementation of the project.

• To execute control measures on material / plant & equipment / utilities usage.

• Controls direct labour costs i.e. no. of direct workers and overtime etc.

• Understands the specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works.

• Ability to propose alternative material or work method for Architectural works.

• Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies.
