JIA HONG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Architectural Coordination professional to support project managers in coordinating design with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

The role involves BIM coordination, drawing reviews, schedule management, site supervision, and submission to authorities, with 3+ years of local experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of architectural coordination experience in Singapore construction.
• Good knowledge of local codes and authority submission (BCA/URA/SCDF/NEA/LTA).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and coordination software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in coordinating architectural design details with Clients, Consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Develop and manage architectural work schedule aligned with Project Master Programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors’ progress, ensure clash-free and quality on site.
• Review and coordinate drawings: construction, shop drawings, and submissions.
• Resolve site architectural issues: discrepancies, RFIs, method statements.
• Use BIM or equivalent tools for design coordination and clash detection.
• Prepare submissions for Consultant and authority approvals.
• Supervise and inspect architectural works for compliance with drawings, specs, safety, and Quality Mark.
• Coordinate material requisition, delivery, installation, mock-ups, and cost control.
• Maintain project documentation including As-Built and O&M manuals.
• Perform other duties assigned by Project Manager.

Job description

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating architectural design details with Clients, Consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and manage the architectural work schedule in line with the Project Master Programme.
• Coordinate, monitor, and control architectural subcontractors' progress, quality, and site activities to prevent clashes and abortive work.
• Review, update, and coordinate architectural drawings, including construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Resolve site architectural issues such as drawing discrepancies, RFIs, technical queries, method statements, and correspondences.
• Use BIM or equivalent tools for design coordination, clash detection, and technical resolution.
• Prepare and submit materials, shop drawings, and method statements for Consultant and authority approval.
• Supervise and inspect architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and CONQUAS / Quality Mark standards.
• Coordinate material requisition, delivery, installation, mock-ups/testing, cost control, and assist QS in verifying subcontractor progress claims.
• Maintain proper project documentation and support project handover, including As-Built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Building, Civil / Structural Engineering, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination within the Singapore construction industry.
• Good knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes (BCA, URA, SCDF, NEA, LTA, etc.).
• Familiar with CONQUAS / Quality Mark standards and ISO quality documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office , and other project coordination software.
