Candidates with a Diploma in IT or related field, and familiarity with SQL, shell scripting, and job scheduling, will be favored. Training is provided; prior experience in application support is an advantage, with potential knowledge of banking/finance domains and OS

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or relevant field.
• No relevant experience? training provided.
• Experience in application support is a plus.
• Banking/Financial domain knowledge is a plus.
• OS knowledge (Linux/Solaris/AIX) is a plus.
• SQL proficiency required.
• Shell scripting and job scheduling knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Incident management and reporting.
• Recovery coordination and escalation handling.
• Review daily activities and ensure shift handover completion.
• Monitor and recover batch jobs; health checks and alerting.
• Coordinate DR testing and post-event reviews.
• Produce and present management reports; seek automation improvements.
