Job summary

Quess Selection & Services, Singapore is seeking an IT Support Specialist to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents escalated to the team. The role involves testing, documentation, and collaborating with IT users and teams to ensure service reliability.

The candidate will monitor performance, run SQL queries, perform data recovery, and assist with deployments while maintaining adherence to policy and SLA requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Info Systems, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of IT industry experience with L2/L3 support, including Java programming.
• Proven experience in performing system and data recovery.
• Work with SQL queries and scripting.
• Familiar with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, logs analysis, and diagnose issues escalated to the team.
• Participate in testing and error reproduction.
• Prepare solution and technical documents.
• Monitor performance, response time and utilization of service applications and components.
• Provide workaround, corrective fixes or data patches for incidents/problems.
• Assist with data extraction requests.
• Take ownership of incident/problem tickets until resolved and ensure SLA.
• Provide support during deployment activities.
• Collaborate with IT teams and users, and identify improvements.
• Work within controlled policies and procedures.
