Job description

Responsibilities

To become the technical expert focusing primarily on Bruker's MS systems & solutions and support other assigned/relevant analytical instrument such as FPLC, ICP-OES and chemistry analyzers.

Pre-sales technical support activities

• technical presentations to prospective customers as well as at conferences/seminars.workshop.
• technical support to sales team for tender responses.
• managing instrument demonstrations and sample analyses for prospective customers.

Post-sales application support

• applications & technical support to customers.
• system operation training
• assist engineers in trouble shooting

Additional responsibilities

• Weekly reporting of activities.
• Active learning and participate in Bruker and other suppliers' training.

Requirements

• The position requires one with strong background in Mass Spectrometry with focus on OMICS and Applied Markets. Additional experience in other analytical instruments such as FPLC, LC, GC, Chemistry Analysers, ICP-OES and ICP-MS would be adventageous.
• BSc (Hons) degree or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Biological Chemistry or Life Sciences or OMICS related field is a pre-requisite.
• Minimum 3-years of hands-on user experience in operating MS instrumentation in the OMICS discipline. Experience with Bruker MS instrumentation is considered an advantage.
• Highly motivated, team player, quick learner, self starter and problem solver
• Excellent oral & written communication skills and presentation skills
• Ability to dissect problems and projects into manageable tasks
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities
