Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an Application Support Analyst (Banking) to provide Level 2 production support for payment systems across the APAC region. You will troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with developers and vendors, and manage system changes and transitions.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in CS/IT, at least 4 years in banking app support, and hands-on experience with GIRO/FAST/CTS/MEPS+. You will work on Windows and Linux, perform SQL queries, and write scripts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Application or System Support in banking/financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience in supporting Payment Systems.
• Experience in Enterprise Application support environments with cross-functional interaction.
• Functional knowledge of GIRO, FAST, CTS, MEPS+, remittance, internet banking and eAdvices.
• Technical expertise on Windows and Linux, including SQL querying and service management.
• Strong scripting knowledge (DOS, Shell).

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production application support for payment systems across APAC.
• Implement preventive/detective measures and conduct root cause analysis.
• Plan production transitions for new system launches and handle change requests.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, standardize processes, and drive automation.
• Lead projects and coordinate with developers/vendors for enhancements and fixes.
• Elevate risks to stakeholders and assist system restoration during DR exercises.
