Senior Application Support Analyst – Capital Markets

Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst in Singapore to lead level 1/2 support for capital markets applications. You will monitor, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate with project, infrastructure, and production teams.

Expect strong SQL and Unix scripting skills, ITIL certification, and a proactive, security-conscious mindset. You will handle monitoring, problem management, and continuous improvement with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in application support, preferably in capital markets IT.
• ITIL certification required.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets domain and exposure to FO/BO systems.
• Knowledge of trade life cycle and financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD).
• 2+ years experience with IT applications handling valuation, reconciliations, payments and confirmations.
• Proven proficiency in SQL and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure.
• Continuous improvement mindset and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement application monitoring in coordination with the build team.
• Supervise daily and monthly data chains and handle user requests with project, infra and production teams.
• Support overnight batches to minimize downtime during Singapore morning and afternoon.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chains.
