Brief Job Description:

Primary Purpose:

System Admin for server (WebLogic & Tomcat will be added advantage)

Responsibilities

• Configuration of tomcat and WebLogic web servers, to serve and deploy java applications on Dev, QA and Production environment
• Install and configure tomcat instances, virtual hosts, context paths and connectors (HTTP/HTTPS)
• Configuration of data sources, domain and managed servers
• Configure SSL/TLS
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of deployment issues
• Integration support such as APIs, databases or SFTP services
• Regularly apply security patches and updates (windows and software patches) and ensure compliance with security standards
• Configure logging and integrate with monitoring tools such as tenable and Splunk
• Set up health checks and alerts for service uptime
• Ensure high availability and load balancing
• Development environment includes managing of SEPM, windows server update services, Active Directory Management (GPOs, users, DNS management)
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, Terraform etc.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab (CI/CD), Docker, Terraform, and Linux operating system
