Job summary

Changi Airport Group is seeking an Airside Operations Planning professional to help shape the safety and efficiency of runways and taxiways at Changi Airport.

You will collaborate with airlines, air traffic controllers, ground handlers and other stakeholders to develop policies, review safety initiatives, analyse data, and explore new technologies to prevent runway incursions, FOD, and wildlife hazards.

Qualifications

• Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
• Confident working with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
• Prior experience or familiarity with airside operations would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review policies, operating concepts and procedures to support safe and efficient airfield operations.
• Drive initiatives focused on runway safety, foreign object debris (FOD) management and wildlife hazard management.
• Partner airlines, air traffic controllers, ground handling agents and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of airside safety.
• Review runway safety recommendations and lead the implementation of suitable measures at Changi Airport.
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure compliance with airfield operational and safety requirements.
• Analyse operational data and identify opportunities to improve airfield capacity, efficiency and resilience.
• Support major airfield development projects by providing operational insights and planning inputs.
• Explore, trial and implement new technologies to enhance detection and prevention of runway incursions, FOD and wildlife hazards.
