Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Import Operation Assistant to support daily airfreight import activities at the Changi Airfreight Centre in Singapore.

The role requires coordinating shipments with forwarders and customers, preparing documentation, and maintaining orderly shipment records. You will work closely with the supervisor on operational tasks, liaising with overseas offices and partners, and generating monthly reports to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in airfreight import operations.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset and service focus.
• Able to multitask, work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import shipments with freight forwarders, suppliers and customers to ensure timely operations.
• Liaise with supervisor and overseas offices; handle day-to-day operations and administrative tasks.
• Prepare and manage import/export documentation (invoices, D/O, shipment reports).
• Maintain accurate shipment records and comply with customs permits and declarations.
• Follow up with terminals and airlines on clearance matters and coordinate cargo surveys.
• Generate monthly reports per customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
