Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Import Operation Assistant to join our team at Changi Airfreight Centre. The role focuses on coordinating import shipments, documentation, and compliance to ensure timely operations.

You will liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers, assist with daily administrative tasks, and support monthly reporting under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Prior airfreight exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in airfreight import operations.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import shipments with freight forwarders, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Work with supervisor on day-to-day tasks and liaise with overseas offices and partners.
• Prepare import/export documentation and related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and handle customs permits and declarations.
• Follow up with terminals and airlines on shipment clearance matters.
• Prepare and generate monthly reports for customers.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
