Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD is recruiting for an airfreight import operator to coordinate shipments from customers and forwarders. You will handle documentation, liaise with overseas offices, and maintain filing systems. Training will be provided for those new to airfreight.

Working location is Changi Airfreight Centre, with a 5.5-day work week (alternate Saturday) and standard office hours. Basic salary ranges from $2,500 to $3,100 plus AWS and VB.

Qualifications

• Minimum O-Level qualification with 1-year relevant experience in airfreight import operations.
• Training will be provided for those without/with lesser experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import shipments with freight forwarders, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Work closely with the supervisor on day-to-day operations and administrative tasks, and liaise with overseas offices and partners.
• Prepare and manage import/export documentation, including break bulk documents, invoices, delivery orders, and shipment reports.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, both digitized and in physical filing systems.
• Handle customs permits and declarations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Follow up with terminals and airlines on shipment clearance and coordinate cargo survey arrangements.
• Prepare and generate monthly reports according to customers’ requirements.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
