Job summary

An aviation services provider in Singapore seeks an Engine Technician responsible for building, stripping, and sentencing aircraft engines. The ideal candidate will perform inspections, assembly, and troubleshooting while adhering to safety standards. Candidates should have a relevant technical certification and at least 2 years in the aviation industry. Those with experience in major engine brands will have an advantage. This position supports continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork in a high-standards environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full-fledged technician.
  • Competent both practically and theoretically to meet skill-test requirements.
  • Experience with GE, Rolls-Royce, Engine Alliance GP, or Pratt & Whitney commercial engines will be an advantage.

🔧 Engine Technician (Build/Strip, Module & Component Sentencing)

✨ What You Will Do

1. Engine Build/Strip

  • Perform disassembly and assembly of aircraft engines into modules for repair and overhaul

  • Install engine components and parts according to approved procedures

  • Perform troubleshooting, modification, and maintenance tasks

2. Module Sentencing

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of aero-engine modules and components

  • Ensure all work complies with approved manuals and OEM work instructions

  • Support Engineering and Quality teams during workscope investigations

  • Follow all workplace safety requirements and uphold the highest standards of workmanship

  • Use and maintain proper tools, equipment, and hand tools at all times

  • Continuously learn and acquire new skills to perform duties effectively

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the company

  • Perform other duties assigned by the Cell / Work Area Head or Team Leader

3. Component Sentencing

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components

  • Inspect parts according to engine manual requirements

  • Interpret and understand technical drawings

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels

🛠️ Job Requirements
  • Preferably holds an Aerospace or relevant technical certification

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full‑fledged technician (excluding OJT, helper or assistant experience)

  • Competent both practically and theoretically to meet skill‑test requirements

  • Strong teamwork and organisational skills

  • Experience with GE, Rolls‑Royce, Engine Alliance GP, or Pratt & Whitney commercial engines will be an advantage
