Job summary

Search staffing services pte ltd is seeking an Airfreight Operations Executive to join our Singapore team. This hands-on role covers the full shipment lifecycle, including space booking with airlines, documentation, and coordination with all parties for timely, compliant delivery.

Responsibilities include booking space, processing documents, coordinating with warehouses and agents, tracking shipments, and liaising with overseas offices to ensure smooth handovers. Immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in air freight forwarding/operations preferred.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, comfortable juggling multiple shipments at once.
• Strong stakeholder communication, daily coordination with airlines, agents, and customers.
• Proficient in MS Office; freight/forwarding system experience an advantage.
• Able to start immediately.

A German-founded global logistics company in specialised cargo logistics, in search for Airfreight Operations Executive to join their Singapore team.

The Role

This is a hands-on airfreight operations position covering the full shipment lifecycle; booking cargo space with airlines, preparing documentation, and coordinating with all parties to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Book and confirm air cargo space with airlines/consolidators for import and export shipments
• Prepare and process shipping documents.
• Coordinate with warehouses, hauliers, and airline handling agents on pickup, packing, and delivery schedules
• Track shipments end-to-end and keep customers updated on status
• Liaise with overseas offices/agents for smooth shipment handovers.
• Handle special cargo where required (temperature-controlled, express/urgent, dangerous goods documentation)
• Check vendor invoices and prepare customer billing.
• Manage customer queries and resolve operational issues.

Requirements.

• Experience in air freight forwarding/operations preferred.
