Job summary

A leading insurance provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage marine and aviation insurance claims. The role requires receiving, processing, and settling claims efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Education

Job description
Receiving, recording and processing all incoming marine and aviation insurance claims
  • Interpreting policies and determining the coverage of claims made, escalating issues as needed.
  • Settlement of claims within the stipulated timeframe and KPI’s.
  • Managing claims recoveries.
  • Respond to clients' requests in accordance with service standards.
  • Liaising with all stakeholders i.e. Accounts Department, Underwriting Dept, Brokers, Agents
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications
  • Any other duties assigned by HOD or reporting authority.
REQUIREMENTS
  • ‘A’ Level or diploma in any one of the following disciplines: Business, Economics, Insurance or Law
  • Minimum 2 years of Non-Life Insurance Claim handling experience. Candidate with 5+ years of relevant experience can be considered for more senior position. Candidate with no prior experience can be considered.
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities, written and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Work independently as well as a team player and self-motivated.
