Job summary

S T MENG PTE. LTD. is seeking a logistics coordinator in Singapore to manage import shipments from China, track status, and respond to client inquiries. You will prepare packing lists, issue delivery orders, and coordinate warehousing and transport arrangements.

Responsibilities include handling customs documentation, liaising with the China team on product lists, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Arrange import shipments and coordinate customs clearance for goods arriving from China.
• Monitor and follow up on shipment status to ensure timely delivery.
• Respond to client enquiries regarding shipment progress and delivery timelines.
• Prepare detailed goods listings for clients based on packing lists received from the China factory.
• Issue Delivery Orders (DO) to clients and ensure accuracy of delivery documentation.
• Manage containers upon arrival at the warehouse, including unloading coordination and inventory checks.
• Arrange transportation such as trailers, lorry cranes, and other logistics support as required.
• Prepare and provide all necessary documents for customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
• Track and follow up on goods status with the China team to ensure smooth shipment flow.
• Liaise closely with the China factory regarding packing lists, cargo readiness, and container loading arrangements.
• Liaise daily with the China team to obtain and update clients’ production lists.
• Keep accurate records of goods delivered to clients and ensure delivery quantities are correct.
• Respond promptly to superiors regarding any urgent or emergency logistics arrangements.
• Perform ad‑hoc administrative and tasks assigned by the superior.
