Job summary

A healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Training Coordinator to support the development of healthcare education and training programmes. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, excellent organizational skills, and at least two years of experience in the training or healthcare sector. Job description

The incumbent supports the department in implementing plans for the development for courses in Raffles Hospital. They will provide administrative support as well as organizes and co-ordinates healthcare education and training programmes in support of the department's strategies and plans. They will also work closely and provide administrative support to the Chief Nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate with internal/ external trainers on conducting training programmes and conferences for potential internal/ external participants

  • Co-ordinate the development and update of the training prospectus and training calender

  • Conduct assigned training programmes and develop curriculum where applicable

  • Develop and improve policies and processes to support the training initiatives

  • Establish in conjunction with appropriate training plans and programmes for the specific professional group(s)

  • Maintain records of student attachment and internship provision

  • Provide secretariat support for monthly meetings, training programmes and conferences

  • Support and implement new ways of training as well as learning resources

  • Maintain up-to-date filing system and Chief Nurse's diaries, appointments and engagements

Requirements
  • Able to work independently with initiative and be adaptive to changes
  • Possess a Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Human Resource Development (Training), Communications, or any other related fields of discipline
  • Good interpersonal skills and confident in doing presentation and stand up training
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Training or Healthcare sector
  • Possess excellent organizational and execution skills
