Job summary

A government educational institution in Singapore is seeking an Adjunct STEM Instructor (Workshop) to support teachers and facilitate students' STEM learning. What the role is

Adjunct STEM Instructor (Workshop) supports teachers in the delivery of Design and Technology (D&T) coursework and practical lessons; and support teachers in projects and operational aspects of students’ learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

What you will be working on

You will prepare teaching resources, set up workshops/ special rooms for practical lessons or assessments and guide students in their projects. You are also required to ensure that lessons are conducted in a smooth and safe manner in the workshops and that all tools, equipment, machines and training kits are in good working condition. You will also provide support in students’ STEM learning, such as working with teachers to plan and organise STEM learning experiences/ journeys for students and supporting students in their STEM investigative projects and/ or STEM Applied Learning Programme (ALP) projects.
