Job summary

Hwa Sheng Construction is seeking an accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, GST, payroll, and budgeting support. You will handle data entry, reconciliations, invoicing, and liaising with clients, suppliers, auditors, and tax agents.

The role requires a Diploma in Accountancy with at least 1 year of accounting experience, a proactive attitude, and strong Excel/Word skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment and support the Finance Division and company as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or related qualification.
• 1 year of accounting experience preferred.
• Proactive, capable of fast-paced, high-volume processing.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of Accounts and prepare schedules for Audit.
• Timely data entry to the accounting system and report preparation.
• Reconcile accounting and bank records.
• Prepare invoices and debt collection.
• Check and follow up on payment matters.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, external auditors, and tax agents.
• Prepare and file GST returns.
• Submit survey reports required by government.
• Provide supporting functions to Finance Division and Company.
• Prepare fortnightly payroll from data collection to staff payment.
• Assist on budgeting and forecasting.
• Handle staff attendance and leave updates.
• Knowledge of Employment Act.
• Other ad hoc assignments.
