Job summary

HWA SHENG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking an accounting professional to handle full sets of accounts, data entry, payroll, GST, and budgeting support. You will liaise with clients, suppliers, auditors, and tax agents, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.

The role requires a Diploma in Accountancy or related qualifications and at least 1 year of accounting experience, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or related qualifications.
• At least 1 year relevant working experience in accounting.
• Proactive, committed and able to work in fast paced, high volume processing environments.
• Positive attitude, hardworking, initiative & ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts and prepare schedules for audit.
• Timely data entry to the accounting system and preparation of reports.
• Reconcile accounting records and bank records.
• Prepare invoices and debt collection.
• Check and follow up on payment matters.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, external auditors and tax agents.
• Prepare GST returns.
• Submit survey reports required by government.
• Provide supporting functions to the Finance Division and Company.
• Prepare fortnightly payroll from data collection to payment arrangement.
• Assist on budget and forecasting exercises.
• Handle staff attendance and leave updates.
• Knowledge of Employment Act.
• Any other ad hoc assignments.
