A dynamic lifestyle business in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, and compliance across multiple entities. The candidate should have at least 4 years of relevant experience and be proficient in accounting qualifications like ACCA or CPA. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, along with ensuring compliance with Singapore accounting standards. The role offers significant involvement in management decisions and opportunities for finance system improvements.
Prepare and review the annual budget and monthly forecasts
Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial performance to management
Analyze business performance and provide insights on key cost drivers, margins, and operating trends
Evaluate financial impact on P&L and cashflow for new business initiatives, expansion, acquisitions or divestments
Build financial models to predict outcomes and evaluate projects using NPV / IRR / ROI
Support decision-making with scenario planning and data-driven recommendations
Ensure timely reconciliation for multiple Singapore entities (4 local businesses)
Oversee monthly closing, reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy and compliance
Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, IRAS, and statutory requirements
Coordinate and support annual audit and tax filing for assigned entities
Manage processing and payment of bills (AP) in a timely and organized manner
Track and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) and provide regular AR reporting to support sales collections
Prepare and submit GST returns for Singapore entity/entities
Assist with general office administration matters when required
Singaporean with a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA / CPA / Degree in Accounting or equivalent)
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
Strong experience in FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, business reporting
Strong financial modelling skills including NPV, IRR, investment/project evaluation
Comfortable handling full-set accounts and multi-entity reconciliation
Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, and Google Workspace (Sheets/Docs/Drive)
Independent, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines across multiple business units
Strong communication skills and able to explain financial results clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Work across multiple lifestyle businesses (tailoring, corporate uniforms, F&B) — dynamic and hands-on exposure
Direct involvement with management decisions and growth planning
Ownership of finance operations with room to improve systems and reporting
