Overview

The Curtain Boutique is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive or Senior Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team in our Ubi office. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting duties, playing a key role in maintaining the financial health and compliance of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Providing support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Assisting with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets and financial reporting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards in Singapore
• Good knowledge of Xero Accounting & Corporate Taxation is an added advantage
