Job description

Responsibilities:

• Act as the intermediary between departments to ensure accuracy and monthly accounting closing timelines are observed.
• Ensure day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and checking accounting-related entries submitted by stakeholders, are accurate in the system.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including retail sales, collection, and reconciliation.
• Handle non-retail/non-trade AR, collection, and reconciliation.
• Perform bank statement reconciliation and reporting.
• Process back-end collection creation and refunds.
• Prepare schedules and sales submissions.
• Manage GL journal entries and audit schedule preparation.
• Update FOREX.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in related AR/AP/GL accounting functions.
• Intermediate or advanced level competency in MS Excel.
• Experience in retail or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
