Job summary

FALCON INCORPORATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support the finance team. You will handle key accounting tasks, assist with month-end close, GST filings, and ensure accurate data for reporting and audits.

The role requires a Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 years of similar experience, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team under supervision of the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Meticulous, hands-on and able to work independently.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support the finance department reporting to Finance Manager and Financial Controller.
• Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll, or other accounting tasks.
• Work on accruals, fixed assets accounting and monthly/yearly finalisation for reporting/audit.
• Assist with preparation of trial balance, basic financial statements and simple consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare GST returns.
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments.

Job description

Working Time:

Monday-Thursday: 8.30am to 6pm

Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Finance Manager and Financial Controller to support the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.


• Covers duties such as work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll or other accounting tasks.


• Works specifically with accruals, fixed assets accounting or the monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for reporting/audit purposes.


• Assists with the preparation of trial balance, basic financial statements and simple consolidated financial statements.


• Prepare GST returns.


• Other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy, with minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity.


• A hands-on person who is meticulous and able to work independently.


• Team player with strong communication and supervisory skills.
