Job description

To be a part of the Finance team, responsible for maintaining a well-organized and accurate accounting functions.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Manage day to day operations of the accounts department.
  2. Manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash / cheque / GIRO in a timely manner.
  3. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  4. Maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts.
  5. Maintain spreadsheets for monitoring and analysing accounting data and prepare financial reports.
  6. Prepare table of accounts, assign entries to proper accounts to ensure proper accounting methods, principles and policies are being followed.
  7. Enforce credit control.
  8. To complete and coordinate annual audits and provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.
  9. To highlight and allocate cash requirement and ensure complies to internal controls.
Requirements
  1. Educational Qualification Required: Diploma in Accounting or similar or equivalent.
  2. Minimum Experience Required: 2-3 Years.
  3. Excellent organization and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  4. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, practices and standards.
  5. Thorough working knowledge of MS Office and accounting software & databases.
  6. Proficiency in analysing and ability to handle huge volume of data.
