Job summary

FOOD CANOPY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Accounts personnel to manage the full set of accounts for the subsidiary and associate companies, reporting to the Director.

The role covers AR, AP & GL, GST returns, cash flow monitoring and basic HR-related duties. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum LCCI or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience in MYOB.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated and a team player with good interpersonal and organizing skills.
• Meticulous and able to work under pressure.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director.
• Ensure AR, AP & GL transactions are appropriate and recorded timely.
• Generate Full Set accounts.
• Monitor the company cash flow.
• Prepare and reconcile quarterly GST returns.
• Handle HR-related duties such as leave, pass, payroll and expense claims.
• Prepare statistical reports for authorities and submit on time.
• Coordinate with office team and provide information and support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director
• Ensure the accounting transactions in AR, AP & GL are appropriate and properly recorded on timely basis
• Generating of Full Set accounts
• Monitor the company cash flowResponsible for preparation and reconciliation of quarterly GST returns
• Knowledge in administration and HR related duties such as leave management, pass application, payroll and employee expense claims processing
• Ensure that necessary statistical reports to the authorities are prepared and returned to the relevant authorities in a timely manner
• Co-ordinate with the office team (operation, marketing, etc.) and provide the information and supports as and when needed

Requirement

• Minimum LCCI or equivalent
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience in accounting systems (MYOB)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Self-motivated and a good team player with excellent interpersonal and organizing skills
• Meticulous and ability to work under pressure
