Job summary

GLOBAL TRANSLATION is seeking a matured and experienced Accounts Executive to join our finance team in Singapore. You will support a group of companies involved in trading, investment, and maintenance services, handling the full set of accounts across multiple entities with meticulous record-keeping.

The role requires fluency in Mandarin, proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling a full set of accounts across multiple entities including GL, AR, AP and inventory.
• Strong knowledge of GST and internal controls within trading, investment and maintenance services.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for reporting and reconciliation.
• Fluent in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.
• Detail-oriented, reliable and able to work independently; prior bookkeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts (GL, AR, AP, Inventory, GST) across multiple entities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for trading, investment, and maintenance operations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders as required.

• Handle the full set of accounts (GL, AR, AP, Inventory, GST) across multiple entities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for trading, investment, and maintenance operations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a full set of accounts
• Strong knowledge of GL, AR, AP, inventory, and GST
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers)
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
• Candidates with substantial accounting or bookkeeping experience are strongly encouraged to apply
