We are looking for a proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the company's accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Handle the full set of accounts and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
Prepare and process supplier payments, staff claims, petty cash, and customer receipts.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare management reports, financial schedules, and analysis for management review.
Prepare GST returns and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.
Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related projects as required.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Job Requirements
Degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience. Candidates with experience handling a full set of accounts will have an advantage.
Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST regulations, and accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel, and familiar with accounting software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
