Job summary

A marine and transit claims consultancy company is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support its accounts department in Singapore. The successful candidate will manage Accounts Receivable and Payable operations, prepare financial statements, and assist in the annual audit. A minimum Diploma in Accountancy or Finance is required, with prior experience in AP and AR preferred. Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in AP and AR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices and post transactions to the general ledger.
• Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable operations.
• Provide coverage and share workload with AR and AP team members during leave or sick absences.
• Prepare bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
• Support the Manager in monthly and annual financial closing and reporting activities.
• Prepare journal entries, schedules, and reconciliations for funds and travel float.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit.
