Job summary

A leading semiconductor technology company based in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive. The role involves preparing monthly management accounts, performing month-end closing activities, and handling audit schedules. Ideal candidates should possess a Diploma in Accountancy with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. The position offers dynamic challenges, particularly during peak periods with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Able to work overtime during peak period.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and GST submissions.
  • Perform month-end closing activities and report to supervisor.
  • Prepare accounts schedule for audit purposes.
  • Process payment and issue cheques.
  • Calculate customer/supplier account balances and reconcile with totals.
  • Prepare invoice and statement of accounts monthly.
  • Preparation of full set of yearly accounts.
  • Other administrative duties assigned.
  • Ad-hoc HR duties management.

Company Overview

WARDE TECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. was setup in year 2012 and WARDE TEC TAIWAN was established in year 2003 for Semiconductor market in Taiwan to support the Semiconductor customers in South Asia regions. WARDE TEC Taiwan headquarter and factory is located in Hsinchu City, Taiwan (R.O.C.) near the major Semiconductor Industrial Park.

Our Company manufacture parts for both 200mm and 300mm Semiconductor Fabrication Plants and have been supporting to Semiconductor companies in Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Taiwan, China, Europe and Japan for more than 10 years. Our main products are CMP Polishing and Cleaner parts such as Membranes, Head Rebuilt parts, consumable parts and machine equipment parts.

Over the past 10 years, we have built confidence with our customers in terms of consumable parts, especially for High Performance Plastics and Rubber products in terms of quality and competitive pricing. We have also move from supporting CMP modules to other areas, such as CVD (NOVELLUS), PVD, Etch and Implantation for other parts overhaul services and consumable parts.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts (partial sets) and GST submissions
  • Perform month-end closing activities and report to supervisor
  • Prepare accounts schedule for audit purpose
  • Processing payment and issuing cheques
  • Calculate customer/supplier account balances and reconcile with totals
  • Prepare invoice and statement of accounts on time every month end
  • Preparation of full set of yearly accounts
  • Other admin duties assigned
  • Other ad-hoc HR duties (Keeping record of staffs’ leave, expenses claim and related matters)
Qualifications
  • 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accountancy or similar
  • Meticulous, efficiency, independent and able to work within a team
  • Able to work overtime during peak period
  • Positive work attitude, self-starter and able to work under pressure
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
  • Knowledge of accounting system (eg. Xero) will be an added advantage
