Job summary

A leading company in accounting services in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee full-spectrum accounting and regional financial reporting. The role involves preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements. The successful candidate will manage accounts, oversee AP/AR functions, and deliver timely reports. Ideal applicants will have a degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in full-set accounting, preferably in a regional capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia tax, GST, and accounting standards.
• Able to work independently and maintain strong internal controls.

The role involves preparing monthly and annual financial statements, performing variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements.

Key tasks include managing full sets of accounts, handling month‑end/year‑end closings, overseeing AP/AR functions, monitoring cash flow, and coordinating with auditors, tax agents, and banking partners.

The successful candidate will maintain strong internal controls and deliver accurate, timely reports to support management decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance (Preferably ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum >3 years’ experience in full‑set accounting, preferably in a regional capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia tax, GST, and accounting standards.
• Proficient in QuickBooks or similar systems, eg Xero.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
