Job summary

A multinational engineering firm is seeking a Finance Officer to manage daily finance operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance with policies. You will be responsible for monthly financial closing, reporting, and communication with stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science along with at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry. Strong communication skills and ethical behavior are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Construction Industry is a plus.
• Ability to maintain day-to-day operation of multiple application systems.
• Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily finance operations including General Ledger and Accounts Payables.
• Responsible for monthly closing and produce timely reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and timely tax filings.

• Working Hours: 5 days (8am to 5:30pm)

Job Description

• Handle daily finance operations, which include but not limited to General Ledger, General Journals, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables
• Responsible for monthly closing, and produce timely and accurate monthly reports to management
• Ensure that payments are made in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST and corporate tax filing
• Ensure all the filings are up to date
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 2 years of working experience in Construction Industry will be a plus
• Able to maintain normal day-to-day operation of multiple application systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality
