As the Account Assistant / Accounts Executive, you will manage daily transactional accounting functions and clerical finance support. This role focuses heavily on maintaining accurate cash flow operations, including managing petty cash reserves, processing credit/debit adjustments, issuing vendor checks, and drafting tax invoices. You will take charge of bank remittance document preparation, coordinate interdepartmental stationary accounts, handle data queries from regulatory bodies like the Department of Statistics, and process Giro and Letter of Credit applications. 1. Billing & Bookkeeping
Issue tax invoices, credit notes, and debit notes for clients and vendors.
Prepare financial vouchers (receipt, outgoing, and journal entries) and manage petty cash.
Monitor and calculate monthly office stationery and paper cost allocations.
2. Banking & Compliance
Process vendor checks and prepare bank remittance applications.
Handle customer and vendor Giro applications along with Letter of Credit documents.
Compile and submit financial data queries for the Department of Statistics.
Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by the finance supervisor.
Academic Background: Diploma in Accounting, LCCI Level 3 Certificate, or an equivalent accounting certification.
Experience Level: Open to candidates with 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience. Experience in construction / M&E / Engineering industries is an advantage.
Software Literacy: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel (data tracking, simple formulas) and Microsoft Word (document drafting).
Systems Advantage: Practical familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) accounting modules is considered a strong advantage.
