Job Description

• Perform a range of laboratory tests and procedures according to established standards, with minimal supervision. Handle routine sample processing such as spinning, aliquoting, and conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses on blood, urine, CSF, and other body fluids.
• Carry out basic chemistry, microscopy (e.g., urine, dysmorphic RBCs), and serology tests (e.g., dengue, influenza/COVID combo, urine pregnancy). Conduct minor equipment checks and validations, including iSTAT, glucometers, Hemochron, timers, pipettes, and thermometers.
• For administrative duties, manage sample registration, attend phone enquiries, print/fax results, retrieve results, and maintain proper records and specimen documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences or equivalent
• Able to commence on short notice
